Miyoshi S. Hirano

Miyoshi Hirano is a California licensed acupuncturist and a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with an undergraduate degree from UCLA in psychology. She graduated with honors from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in 2004. Mentored by her father, Dr. Tatsuo Hirano, Miyoshi has been practicing in this clinic for more than 7 years. Miyoshi also has 6 years of experience in the western medical setting, working with National Institute Health sponsored research conducted to further understanding in Irritable Bowel Syndrome. With Energetics for Health, Inc., she is fully trained in Hirano Shen Kung (HSK) and Hirano Myo-Osteo Therapy (HMOT).

Miyoshi and her father represent a stronger force integrating Western and Eastern health modalities and science under one roof. Specialties she adds to the clinic are pediatrics, OB/Gyn, facial rejuvenation and treatment for psycho-somatic disorders triggered by stress, anxiety and depression. Besides acupuncture, HSK and HMOT, Miyoshi's therapies may include electro-acupuncture, nutrition, herbal pharmacopeia, Anmo-Tuina, proprioceptive neuromuscular re-education, lifestyle counseling, posture & movement consultations and exercises as well as visualization and meditation techniques that is tailored to each patient individually.

Together, they have built the ideal clinical oasis for healing that our patients have come to love. It is located in a tranquil garden a few blocks north of the Ventura (134) Freeway and Glenoaks Boulevard, between Dryden and Stocker, at 1139 North Brand Boulevard in Glendale, California.
